Can you spell SABOG? =))))))))

BOOOOOM.

Whattafes, man. :| =)))))))))

I love this day. For random reasons.

First, BackStage's wish to have a second chance to dance at the stage was granted. Yay. Ms. Jose asked us yesterday to dance for the personnel since today is their day. Yeah, sure, whatever. Gusto lang namin sumayaw ulit. =)) Umagang umaga, may drama episode pa ako e. :/ Thank you kay Ms. Romero and kay Sr. Rochie (?). Thanks talaga a. :/ I don't really want to tell the story here 'cause it feels hella a lot better when I'm saying it. HAHA. Ang pinagpuyatan namin ni Inna na music (pinaghalong audition and bandfest music) ay nabulok lang sa iPod ko. Tss. :/ Ms. Jose told us to dance the audition piece instead of the newly polished audition-bandfest piece. On the bright side, we get to wear our costumes! Black shirt and jeans, silver vest and the signature-BackStage tutu. :> A few minutes before our actual presentation, Ms. Jose told us that we were gonna dance another piece different from our audition piece. Thanks, Ate Angela a. =)) :/ It was some Filipino song. Ate Ason sung it while Ate Marga played the violin. Thanks to our Giselle piece, we choreographed the dance in a jiff. :> We were gonna dance the pure ballet piece before the audition piece. When we already went to the sides, and III2 already saw me, I felt loved. :"> III2 kept cheering for me even before we started to dance, we were just in our Giselle poses. I haven't felt that much support. I'm super touuuuuched. ILY. :> What's funny was, everyone was quiet when we did the Giselle piece, cause I know they were expecting something different. When we went to our first pose to the audition piece, they clapped cause they thought our dance was already done. Yung palakpak kasi e. Nakakatawa. Parang nagh-hesitate na ewan. :)) Everyone knew our dance wasn't over when Marla did her penchee. (Kunwari tama yung spelling :>) Ang lakas ng palakpak sa bounce. Yaaay. Eternal favorite. :> Ehem, ako nag-choreo nun. Ehem. :D =)) Malakas din yung palakpak sa Get Up and sa When I Grow Up. :> Deyuuum. Ang saya nung feeling after sumayaw. :D I'm gonna miss these street-dancing ballerinas like hell. :(( BackStage Forever. <3>

Second, Wayang Kulit. :/ I'm not really a fan of this project but I'm really interested in the story cause it has a mermaid in it. And you all know how I love The Little Mermaid. :> [Probably you don't cause I didn't blog about my "Part of Your World" LSS. =))] Sabog moment?

Jan: So, paano na? (Meaning, paano sisimulan yung story) One day--
Ciara: Huh? (Akala pinag-uusapan kung kailan gagawa ng puppets) Diba, walang pasok sa Monday?

Oo, Ciara, oo. :))

Third, Kapit-bangiiiiiin! :> Nakooow. Nikikilegs me a. :"""""> Whoops. Onti lang nakakaalam. :))

On the sad part of the day though was during the afternoon--before group 1's MPAD practice. Gay lover cried...again. The reason why she was crying was for Gillian Bendicio's departure for US. Although I have no idea why Gillian was leaving. But I hafta know. :/ I know the reason's not shallow cause Vicky wouldn't get pissed off if it was. Well, I know when something's not my business, so I'll end here. :)

Deyum. The post was pretty looooooooooong. Pangit pa yung pagkakasulat. Iba-iba pa yung language na ginamit ko. HAHAHAHA. Sabog nga talaga ako. Just bear with me, okay? :D

**13! <333
One year na kami ni Jay. :D
I HEART YOU, CRUSHIE! :>

It's hard to be humble when you're a dancer.

TSSSSS.

"Based on experience..."

Hahaha. Pagbigyan. Paminsan lang yan. Kung hindi magets, 'wag pagpilitan. :))

Nobody tells us we can't dance.

Okay. It just sinked in to me now that the bandfest audition results are tomorrow. TOMORROW. Now I’m nervous. I have never been this nervous since any stage performance I’ve done. This is really something different. I don’t know why I feel nervous just now. It’s really weird. I clearly remember last year that I didn’t feel any form of nervousness when the results were out. Probably because I really didn’t expect BackStage to pass at any point since all of us kept saying, “Tss, okay lang kahit di makapasa this year, may next year pa!” We were all surprised when it was announced that we passed. It was such an amazing moment dancing on that stage. I didn’t even care that some people didn’t recognize us, I was too busy dancing my heart out. But it’s different this year, there’s no more next year for BackStage since Ate Angela, Ate Thea and Ate Ujie will be graduating this school year. Ugh, I don’t know why I feel all so dramatic right now. It’s kinda frustrating actually since I can’t do my SWE properly. :|

It’s also frustrating to feel when people don’t expect you to pass simply because they think you can’t dance. Excuse me but we aren’t those kinds of dance groups who pay other people to choreograph their dance. Groups like that don’t really have the natural ability to dance. Those kinds of groups try to dance since they had to pay other people just to make a dance for them. God! That isn’t practical. If you’re a true-blooded dancer, you can choreograph a dance in a jiff. A lot of people don’t expect us to pass simply because we’re ballet dancers. It actually hurts when people think of it that way. I just know that we aren’t on your “groups that will pass for bandfest” list. We don’t plan to be on your list anyway. :P I actually appreciate the IV6 class since they support our group whole-heartedly. They give out comments that will help us improve our dance. I love their supportiveness on Ate Angela. I haven’t seen anyone (from STC) who supports BackStage like them Oh well, that’s about it. I have to finish my SWE and study for my LQ in SocSci. Before I leave though, I would love to share our dance group profile. It was made by Ate Angela and I thought the profile was great.

In life as a ballerina: grace glides with blistered feet. If you think ballet is easy, think again. For Inna, Marla, Ciara, Eunice, Angela, Thea, Natalie and Janine have proven this wrong. Ballet is not just about wearing fancy tutus, applying make-up and putting hair in a bun. Ballet is an endless journey of learning experiences, determination, passion and of course pain.

Passion and love, desire to share and longing for more pain brought about Backstage. It was Marla's idea to form a group among year IV students of Radaic School of Classical Ballet to perform in the bandfest. Who knew that the fusion of these dancers that was once a dream became a reality?

Why Backstage? Well it was from the mistake of their teacher in modern dance class, teacher Ron. He thought that the title of the movie “Center Stage” as “Backstage”! All were hilarious but then thought it was a good name for the group.

Now, move, sway, shake and groove with Backstage as they do it big, do it right and do it with style.

I’ll see you soon bitches,
